I believe the above line should be the motto of everyone during these extreme hot temperature. Having water as much as you can is the only way that seems to keep your health and body in great shape. It is impossible for anybody to live withoit water in such scorching heat and today’s hectic schedule. Sweat and urine are the two major forms through which your body keeps loosing water and this leads to dehydration, which is faced by most people. Staying hydrated is a daily necessity no matter what the thermometer says. But as humans we all have the tendency look for proofs and effects of everything which we consider so important in our life because without knowing the exact reason we would never believe on anything. But i am here to help you out with the same question of why water is important and the benefits it carries.

To begin with, it is said that the human body is about 60% of water, for which it becomes very crucial to fill our body with appropriate amount of water intake— not too much , not too less. There are most of us who feel that drinking water sip by sip every minute is an ideal way to keep ourself hydrated but that is not the proper way.

If you are wondering how much water intake you need then following points will help-

For an adult man- the required daily water intake should be about 3.7 L

For an adult woman- it is about 2.7 L

For kids -

5-8 Y/o - 1L

9-12 Y/o- 1.5 L

above 13- 2 L



Now here comes the benefits of drinking water. Let me tell you there are plenty of health benefits that water provide. • An increase water intake will help in avoiding consipation, kidney stones, gatritis and many more health related problems.

• Having enough water can also help you prevent hangover. Of course! Who doesn’t love to party and have a drink or two which turns into too much sometimes, right? So to avoid unpleasant situations after drinking, drink lots of water. • water is also an important factor is maintaining a healthy blood pressure and keeping body temperature under control.


Water helps you from the inside out

For your skin’s sake, it is one of the easiest and best beauty treatments you can do. No you might not be able to get rid of all your beauty products just because you are drinking more water but it will definitely help. Your skin is an organ. Infact, it is the largest organ present in the body and mostoy made up of water. Without water our skin can never fuction at its best. If it does not get enough water, not only the skin will become dry tight and flaky but it will also become even more prone to aging. The truth is that your body loses large amount of water everyday so it is important to compensate with the loss otherwise the skin has to face the consequences.

The more hydrated you stay, there will be fewer wrinkles and fine lines. Water acts as an agent in maintaining moisture thereby increaing elasticity hence you will see fewer wrinkles.

Having a clear , acne free skin is all that we desire for , dont we?. I am sure it is at the top of priority list of most people ( especially girls). Around 40-55% of the adult poplustion age 20-40 has acne. It is a common skin issue that can be helped by drinking enough water as it helps in flushing out all the toxing from the body.

So while writing all this, i managed to finish drinking half a litre of water atleast. I am very conscious about my skin which is the utermost reason why i will start my water routine from today itself. What about you ?
