India's 5 undiscovered gems

India has a plethora of undiscovered treasures. Many people today are seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. When you organise a trip to an unusual location to break up the monotony of your daily routine, you feel stress-free, calm, and joyful on the inside as well. You may have visited some of India's most renowned spots, but there are a number of hidden gems where you should plan your next vacation. It would also increase your social isolation because only a few individuals are aware of these concealed locations. Here is a list of some of India's most stunning and hidden jewels.

  1. Khajjiar, Himachal Pradesh

Khajjiar is elegantly tucked in the foothills of the magnificent Dhauladhar peaks of the Western Himalayas, set against a backdrop of thick pines, deodars, and lush green meadows. Visitors may enjoy a panoramic and stunning view from the dish-shaped Khajjiar.

One of the 160 spots throughout the globe classified as "Mini Switzerland" is a tiny scenic saucer-shaped plateau surrounded by lush pine and deodar trees.

It's really lovely to go around the picturesque surroundings or go for lengthy hikes. Visitors can also participate in adventure activities such as paragliding, horseback riding, and zorbing. Khajjiar is accessible all year; the summers are lovely, while the winters are cold and snowy. Escape to Khajjiar when the city get too much for you.

2. Spiti, Himachal Pradesh

Spiti, hidden in the Himachal Pradesh highlands, is one of those unusual locations you must see at least once in your life. It has a difficult personality and is located at an elevation of 14,931 feet. Spiti is the place to go if you're looking for adventure, peace, or a way to get away from the city. Green areas dot the bleak highlands, which are peppered with historic monasteries. Trekking, camping, mountain biking, and other experiences add to the excitement. Spend time in Ki, Kibber, Kaza, and other villages. For a wonderful vacation, take a bike ride from Manali to Spiti.

3. Gokarna, Karnataka

Gokarna, one of India's many lovely beach towns, is one of the country's best-kept secrets. Gokarna is known for its lovely, unspoiled beaches, but it is predominantly a temple town with a leisurely and mellow vibe that makes for a really enjoyable alternative vacation. Away from the tourists, the Karnataka town's beaches are bathed in beach pleasure. Hire a motorcycle and go for a ride around town. Visit some of the old temples. Take in the beauty of the dawn and sunset. At any time, go for a swim in the water. The beach shacks provide excellent cuisine, live music, and intriguing people.

4. Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh

The charming hill resort is also known for its numerous Buddhist temples, which attract a large number of visitors throughout the year. The tourist places in Tawang will tempt you for choice, from the stunning Gudpi mountains to the ethereal Tawang valley and Madhuri Lake. The beautiful Gorichen Peak, which gives bizarre perspectives of the town, must be hiked before leaving.

The best time to visit this lovely hill station is between March and September.

If you want to try some exciting adventure sports, come here during the winter months, when there are plenty of options for skiing. If you're planning a trip to Tawang in February or March, don't miss the Losar festival, which takes place in the Tawang monastery.

5. Varsey Trek, Sikkim

Northeast India has long captivated Indians as one of the country's least-explored areas. Because of its relative geographical isolation, the Northeast is only tangentially tied to national events and the preservation of its citizens' local culture. That is why the states that make up the Northeast are usually enveloped in mystery and intrigue.

Varsey Trek in Sikkim is ideal for travellers looking to add some excitement to their journey. You may go on a short to medium-distance hike that will take you up to 3300 metres in height.

The red and yellow Rhododendron trees provide a dreamlike shadow to this location, and you can even arrange camps to rest beneath the stars throughout the three-day trip.
